Open letter to the Ministry of War Veterans

Open letter to the Ministry of War Veterans and the Government of
Republic of Croatia regarding the announcement to adopt a Law on victims
of war crimes committed by rape

We appeal to the Ministry of War Veterans and other responsible institutions to seriously, systematically, and comprehensively approach resolution of problems related to the civilian war victims, and establish relevant mechanisms on resolving this issue, that is: A law on all civilian war victims along with a register of civilian casualties of war; A special office to deal with civilian war victims as a form of appropriate social policy enhancement; and a National program on reparations for all civilian war victims that will help build the foundations of the Fund for rehabilitation, reintegration and reparation of civilian victims.
