On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Anti-Fascist League of Croatia and Documenta – Center for Dealing with the Past organized a walk from the memorial plaque on the site of the demolished Zagreb synagogue to the Square of Victims of Fascism, remembering Jews killed in the then NDH. Tena Banjeglav from Documenta spoke about all the places of suffering.

Participants in the memorial walk, including representatives of the Coordination of Jewish Communities of the Republic of Croatia, the Serbian National Council and ambassadors of Canada, Germany, Norway and the British Embassy, laid roses and pebbles in front of a memorial plaque in Praška Street where the synagogue once stood, on the site of today’s parking lot.
