Presentation of the Annual Report on War Crime Trials for 2012 – Press Conference

We are inviting you to the press conference where will be presented the findings of the Annual Report on Monitoring of War Crime Trials, which will take place at the Human Rights House, Selska cesta 112 c, 10000 Zagreb, on Thursday, March 21, 2013. at 11.00.

In the conference will speak: Mladen Stojanović, Center for Peace, Nonviolence and Human Rights Osijek, Marko Sjekavica, Civic Committee for Human Rights and Vesna Teršelič, Documenta – Center for Dealing with the Past.

As July is approaching for Croatia’s accession in the European Union, we require additional positive steps from Croatian institutions towards effective prosecution of war crimes.

We appeal again for the necessity of shedding light on the circumstances related to the committed war crimes and punishment of the perpetrators.
