On-line discussion „Dealing with the Past and Transitional Justice in the Western Balkans“

We cordially invite you to the Online discussion entitled „Dealing with the Past and Transitional Justice in the Western Balkans“ which will take place on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 11:00 to 13:00, organized by Documenta – Center for Dealing with the Past and CROSOL – Croatian Platform for International Citizen Solidarity.
Discussion will be opened by following respected speakers, addressing the slow processing of war crimes, reparations programs for war victims, the culture of remembrance and the process of building trust:

The discussion is follow up of the Declaration of more than 90 Western Balkan civil society organizations entitled “With or without the European Union?” adopted in May 2020 during the Zagreb summit held within the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The discussion will be moderated by Director of Documenta, Vesna Teršelič. The event will be held online and simultaneous translation will be provided.
The discussion is held within the project ‘Towards an open, fair and sustainable Europe in the world – EU Presidency Project 2019-2021’.
