We invite you to a lecture talk by the UN Special Rapporteur on the promotion of truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence Fabián Salvioli, which will be held on Monday 29 November at 6 pm, at Human Rights House, Selska c. 112c, Zagreb. The talk will be followed by a conversation with the audience.

The Special Rapporteur will talk about his mandate, as well as his work in Argentina, and will share his many years of experience working in the field of human rights.

We may recall that on 26 September 2011, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted the A/HRC/18/L.22 resolution, establishing the Special Rapporteur on the promotion of truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence. On that occasion, the Council especially highlighted the necessity of dealing with the past, the search for truth and reconciliation, and non-judicial measures pertaining to grievous violations of human rights and of international humanitarian law.

Mr. Fabián Salvioli will be in Croatia from 26 November until 2 December, visiting Zagreb, Osijek, Knin, Vukovar and Split. On Thursday 2 December at 10:30 am at the Westin Hotel, he will hold a press conference, presenting the preliminary findings and recommendations for the Republic of Croatia.
